Well, like I said in last post - if you want to do your very own thing with a slick Joomla! template core get and try Gantry by Rocket Theme.

Quasar is their latest free template edition of gantry framework. Most cool of team RT to give this gem to us all to play around with.

By the looks of the Pay for release this month, I don't want to rain on this wonderful parade but..., I'm still not seeing the type of options that I have long desired, but it's a great start for the general masses. Fingers crossed for seeing what I need after it grows up a bit more.
